Who is Harvey's Coffee?

From the moment I could first speak, I had always tried to sell people things, whether that be a lemonade stand, spray painting curbs, or tutoring people. I’ve always been a businessman.

One day, my dad, who had previously owned a coffee roasting business, invited me to roast coffee with him–although reluctantly, I agreed. After our roast, he handed me a bag of coffee beans, and after a few cups of coffee, we came up with the idea of starting a business selling specialty coffee door to door.

Our business has been through a lot. After my dad's passing on my birthday in August of 2024, I took over his legacy of coffee. When I felt defeated in the business, I managed to reconnect with my lifelong friend, Dash Voskuhl.

Since we were seven, we had always done everything together: swim, water polo, weight lifting, and then boxing. When I needed it most, my real family was right in front of me. He motivated me not to close the business and to keep following my dreams, offering to work long hours with me if it meant keeping up production and moving things along.

After I’d run the business with just myself and Dash for around a year, I met my now girlfriend, Abby Merchant, on a beach in Santa Cruz, and we instantly fell in love with one another. I kept the business separate from her as long as I could, but her curiosity would always get the better of her, and she would ask questions–a lot of questions. So I caved and told her everything. I’ve never met a smarter, harder-working girl than Abby. So, when she asked me to jump into the business with me, I couldn’t turn down her offer.

Since then, we have done everything together: marketing, management, logistics, and even writing out this story ;)... You name it, and we’ve probably done it together. We have big dreams, and I know that with each other, we will make them reality.
